Highly efficient operation over very wide speed ranges – this is the benefit of PM motors in continuous operation. With a continuous efficiency of 97% in continuous operation – even at low speeds – the PM motors achieve the highest level of energy efficiency and are among the most efficient drives in energy efficiency class IE4.

For individual applications, this means that this high efficiency over a wide speed range also allows the use of smaller sizes for defined tasks.

PM motors are also particularly interesting for updating existing drive systems: With PM motors and the appropriate inverters, induction motors can also be retrofitted: a conclusive replacement scenario for more energy efficiency in many applications.

The advantage of PM motors in continuous operation is that they can be operated highly efficiently over very wide speed ranges. PM motors are one of the most efficient electric motors, with a continuous efficiency of > 98% in continuous operation and well over 96% in partial load operation. Our standard series complies with the IE4 and IE5 (Premium) energy efficiency classes as standard. This results in a very compact and lightweight series.

PM engines for retrofit are particularly attractive. They can convert their old system to effective and thus economical PM motors without major system downtimes, and they do not even have to adapt the mechanical adaptation.
